This is a great place to take your car for any mechanical needs. The owner is honest and doesn't try to throw in unnecessary work to up the price like a lot of other shops. They work quickly and always communicate with you before starting any work that may have been found in the process of what you were there for. They also will let you know about how long you have until you'll need to have some routine maintenance done like tires, brakes, etc. The shop office is very clean, updated, and there is even a clean restroom for customers to use if they decide to wait there for the work to be done. 10/10 recommend!

Best prices, clean, professional, communicate with you right away, best customer service and diagnosed an issue on the Ford that has eluded three other mechanics. Prices are clearly posted; do not pressure you into things you don't need. Got brakes and an oil change on the Cooper; much better pricing than any other shop. Chuck Schneider's garage is the only place i've ever been where I absolutely trust them not to rip me off. And they know what they are doing at this garage. His prices aren't cheap, but neither are the dealer's garage. Also, I never have to wait. When he says the car will be done by a certain time, it is done by a certain time. His business has been suffering lately from a lengthy construction project on West Carson Street. Make an appointment to have your car serviced there----it's worth the little bit of hassle with the construction. I have been taking my car to Chuck's for years and have NEVER had a problem of any sort.

I’ve been a customer at Schneider’s Auto Repair since early 90s. Chuck and his crew are very knowledgeable and skilled but never make you feel inept. Also Chuck’s estimates are never underpriced; he explains what needs repaired. So you don’t go into “price-shock” when you get the bill. At these times of the pandemic it is extra reassuring to know the garage and waiting area is always clean. They are being safe but aren’t making their customers feel pressured.
